Our Mentorship Program empowers youth by equipping them with support skills for navigating the education system, participating in the community, making informed decisions, and preparing for their future career. Recognizing the need for support in rural communities, CAN offers year-round programming through events and workshops. These initiatives are incorporated into our Mentorship Program and aim to foster community, belonging, and educational support among youth.
In response to the challenges faced by rural school districts, CAN’s Mentor Fellowship Program addresses critical needs such as staffing shortages, mental health support, and academic assistance. Near-peer mentors offer stability, emotional support, practical guidance, and serve as inspirational role models for first-generation students. We are dedicated to creating opportunities and a supportive environment for historically marginalized youth in Fort Morgan, prioritizing equity, inclusivity, and collaboration with the community.
